These Terms cover the EQUA website and the EQUA: Music Visuals iPhone app. They explain local creation, optional JSON sync, Free and Pro exports, auto-renewable EQUA Pro subscriptions, account deletion, and your responsibilities when publishing media.

Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use govern equalab.app and the EQUA: Music Visuals iPhone app. By using EQUA, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; EQUA is not directed to children under 13.

License and service
EQUA gives you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and its original visual systems for lawful creative work. EQUA and its software, visual systems, branding, and supplied assets remain owned by the EQUA developer or licensors. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app or its template implementations except where law permits.

Your media and exports
You retain rights in audio, artwork, and other content you provide. You must have all permissions needed to process, synchronize configuration for, export, and publish that content. EQUA does not claim ownership of your projects or exported videos. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your inputs and publications.

Local processing and optional sync
Source media, analysis data, and rendered videos are processed locally on the iPhone and are not backed up by EQUA. An optional account synchronizes only project configuration JSON and cannot recreate a project on another device without the original media. Keep your own copies of source files and finished exports.

Free access and EQUA Pro
Free access includes Spinner and Equalizer. It permits four successful exports per device: the first is clean and later free exports include an EQUA watermark; another export requires EQUA Pro. EQUA Pro currently unlocks the remaining looks, unlimited exports, and removes the EQUA watermark. Separate template packs are not sold in this version. Feature availability may change prospectively, but access already owed for a paid subscription period will be honored as required by law.

Subscriptions and billing
EQUA Pro is an auto-renewable Apple subscription titled EQUA Pro. Lengths are one month and one year. The App Store shows the current price and price per period at purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current renewal price. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting EQUA or an EQUA account does not cancel billing. Refunds follow Apple policy and applicable law. EQUA Pro does not currently include a free trial. If a trial or introductory offer is shown at purchase, any unused portion is forfeited when you subscribe.

Accounts and deletion
An account is optional and must be used only by its authorized owner. You are responsible for access to your email and device. You may delete the account in Profile → Account. Deletion removes the Supabase Auth user and associated synced EQUA data but deliberately leaves local projects and media on the iPhone. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records required to administer transactions, restoration, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Acceptable use
Do not use EQUA to violate law or third-party rights, distribute malicious or unlawful material, bypass subscription or export controls, interfere with the service, probe accounts or infrastructure without authorization, or present EQUA visual systems or branding as your own software product.

Apple EULA and third parties
If you download EQUA from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). These Terms add product rules for local media, optional accounts, and EQUA Pro. Apple is not a party to these additional Terms and is not obligated to provide EQUA support or maintenance. Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, Expo, Vercel, Google Analytics, Telegram for private support notifications, and email-delivery providers support parts of EQUA under their own terms and policies. The EQUA developer is not responsible for third-party outages or decisions outside reasonable control.

Availability and changes
EQUA is provided on an as-available basis. Features, templates, compatibility, and hosted services may evolve, be repaired, or be discontinued. These Terms may be updated prospectively by publishing a new effective date. Continued use after an update means acceptance where permitted by law.

Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EQUA is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. The EQUA developer is not liable for lost source media, missed publication opportunities, indirect or consequential loss, or third-party service failure. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Questions about these Terms, the app, or a legal request can be sent through the EQUA support form at equalab.app/support. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
