How long can the selected clip be?
Quick presets are 7, 10, 15, and 30 seconds, with trim handles for any window from 1 to 60 seconds. Shorts reward a tight hook that can loop.
Where do I export the video?
In the iPhone app. EQUA writes a local H.264/AAC MP4 at 720p or 1080p, then you share it or save it to Photos and upload to YouTube Shorts.
Can I create a landscape version too?
Yes. Duplicate the Shorts project to 16:9 for YouTube or other landscape placements. Source audio, cover art, and look settings stay with the project.
Can I loop a YouTube Shorts music visualizer?
Yes. Trim so the first and last frames of the look can repeat, then export 9:16. Spinner, Equalizer, and the Pro looks are built as continuous motion, not a one-shot title card.
Does EQUA add YouTube captions or a waveform overlay I cannot turn off?
No. The canvas has no automatic captions, timestamps, or debug stamps. Waveform and spectrum appear only when you pick looks like Scope, CRT, or Equalizer.
