Do I need to enter a BPM?
No. EQUA estimates tempo locally from the selected hook. When beat confidence is low, looks fall back to amplitude, onsets, bass, and spectrum instead of locking to a fake metronome.
Can I change the colors?
Yes. Spinner uses one accent plus Off / Glow / Strobe behind the disc. Equalizer and Radar use EQUA, classic, violet, or heat palettes. Plasma, Depth, Ribbon, Kaleido, and Liquid swap full palettes. The audio window still drives the motion.
Will preview and export match?
Yes. Live GPU preview and native H.264/AAC export consume the same project settings, trim window, and local analysis data, so the posted MP4 should match what you saw on iPhone.
Does the video follow the kick, bass, and waveform, or just bounce on volume?
It depends on the look. Equalizer and Radar follow a 24-band spectrum. Scope and CRT trace the waveform. Spinner, Plasma, and the other Pro looks follow bass swell, mids, and a short kick hit. Nothing is a generic full-frame flash on every peak.
Can I export an audio-reactive MP4 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts from iPhone?
Yes. Pick 9:16 for those vertical feeds, or duplicate into 4:5, 1:1, or 16:9. Render 720p or 1080p locally, then save to Photos or share. No desktop encode step.
